Interesting times we're living in, indeed! Story of my life -- everything happens right after I step out the door for just a few minutes.
I like RFK Jr.'s stance on the experimental gene-therapy injections and mandates for same, but do not like his stance on several other issues. But, I'd imagine Pres. Trump already knows which would be the best fit. I say, put him where he'll be the most useful.
He's supposedly special needs...tread lightly.
I knew there would be great temptation on the part of the inside crew to make some grabs after The BCC. I hoped the local folks in each case could keep a lid on it. I don’t know as much about the others but I knew the land around Mare Island was getting way heckuva valuable. Same with McClellan AFB near SAC.
At the time Mare was one of six of our NUKE capable Naval Shipyards. As was Charleston NSY and Portsmouth NSY. About 1970 I toured the Nuke yards to help standardize them on certain aspects of Submarine repair/overhaul. First the 15 year, then the lifetime reactor cores gradually made some of the yards excess. Charleston got cut and it’s taken all this time for the locals to split it up, in part for low cost housing. Portsmouth sat for awhile but the brain trust has now decided they actually need it so it’s back in service. Norfolk couldn’t handle the East Coast load
Then the same brain trust realized Puget couldn’t handle all the West Coast load but with Mare gone San Diego has picked up the slack.
Mare, I don’t know about but what with Kalifornia having the highest density of political dirtbagz on the planet all I can do is wish you good luck with that one. chinese Walmart maybe?
Had to read the whole story but I think I see the manpower problem? Someone named Adm. Lisa is running the naval supply system. Those seagoing USNS ships are some heckuva good jobs. Typically 6 weeks out then 6 weeks off. They pay good. A few of those guys have worked for me in their off times. Seen a lot of world. Brought home a lot of stash.
The story could have mentioned that the fuel delivered to those NUKE carriers is Avgas-—for the airplanes. When they’re busy they need JP5 every four days. That’s how we know they’re covering a lot of ground?
Yea, those effers need to GO. They can probably be easily traded for actual freedom loving Cuban families to naturalize here!

A repeal would be sweet, love to have one. The tax and paperwork for suppressors need to go away as well.

I've seen other analysis saying that Obama has no intention of letting Kamala run. It may be that before Joe 'came out' with the DNC 'coup' to remove him, Obama planned to replace her at the convention. But Joe and others are fanning the winds of discontent over Biden's removal, so it might be too soon to then remove Kamala. The electorate should be angrier still if it became THAT obvious that Obama selects his presidential puppet without worrying about how the public responds. SO maybe Obama pressures Kamala to withdraw after the convention? Keep her quiet with blackmail, or money? Worse, maybe he 'fires' up the base by having 'something happen' to Kamala to give the Dems their martyr, blame it on Russia and or Trump? I do NOT want AMerica to descend to any more banana republic tactics. Prayers up for no more electoral violence (RIP Seth RIch).
So by 'allowing' Kamala to be chosen, Obama dons the veil of innocence, "What? Me? Oh you know I don't get involved in such things!"
Here's how Obama can (try to) remove a candidate after the convention selection process.
"If the Republican candidate dies or is incapacitated after the convention and before Election Day, the Republican National Committee (RNC) will meet to select a presidential candidate and/or vice-presidential candidate under Rule 9 of party rules.
Since every state has three RNC members and then some add-ons for Republican elected officials the states are not apportioned according to population — thus RNC members will cast the same number of votes as their state was entitled to cast at the convention and a new nominee will be selected by majority vote.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is also authorized to select the party’s nominee in the event that the winner of the convention cannot run. This is spelled out in the charter of the Democrat Party. However, since DNC members are awarded to states according to the size of the states, there would be no adjustments.
This has actually happened only once before. After the 1972 convention, revelations came out that George McGovern’s running mate Sen. Tom Eagleton, had been treated for mental illness. Eagleton was forced to resign from the ticket and McGovern chose Sargent Shriver as his replacement. But McGovern alone could not place Shriver on the ticket with him, it needed to be ratified by the full DNC. And so, on August 9, 1972, the DNC chair, Jean Westwood, called the national committee into session to officially nominate Shriver as McGovern’s running mate."
The pic doesn’t have anything to do with AM-15, Glock Switch or even 300 caliber. I’m just gonna sit here and flapper my lips until more explanation shows up. Nothing in the pic is “home made” but the finger might be pointing to a home-drilled hole? And the lower rifle looks to be really old: SP-1 format with later forward assist from maybe 1970? Got some in the back room and nobody cares?

Jack doesn’t want to be hanged but he should still have to pay up for defrauding the United States since he knew that he knew he had no more standing than anyone posting here would have to bring charges. The DNC debacle and RFK move is really shifting ground.
