It would seem to look like it, but maybe not. My mind seems to always be on the lookout for conspiracies...
...Like some kind of wag-the-dog scenario involving Biden, Harris and the Mullahs, maybe? This is how the media would play it:
There is a real threat of war in the ME, and Joe and Kamala split their time between monitoring events in the situation room, and private audiences with Israeli and Iranian representatives. Due to tough talk and diplomacy, war is averted! Peace in the Middle East is saved!
Kammy and Joe share the credit, of course. Joe gets his legacy he was looking for in foreign policy, having pretty much failed at everything else (economy, immigration, law and order, domestic issues).
Kammy gets redefined as a tough negotiator, ready and able to move into the oval office. The mushy middle of the electorate falls for it and Kamala is elected.
2025 is when the REAL war begins. The Iranians wasted a few missiles on the 2024 feint, but their position is much improved for it. Netanyahu's only ally is NOT in the White House. Kamala has already engaged in treason with Iran and can be controlled by blackmail, as long as she's useful to them. She won't interfere when the fuse is lit. And the nukes are ready!
