Yep- too much work- there are tools to help for button attachment and button hole maker- but not sure how secure they would put the buttons on- but still- not worth the effort really-

[[I wore out clothes a lot faster before retirement.]]

Yep- same here-

Will do. Probably not much better than Levi, but I will take a look. I may become a Wranglers customer shortly.

Thanks. My memory of long ago isn’t what it used to be!

None.

I’ve always found Levis to be uncomfortable, even after dozens of washings.

Here’s another, and in my opinion much better, option made by the same company:

I stock up when Old Navy has them on sale. I can get 5 or more pairs for the price of one pair of Levis. I still have Levi’s from the 80’s & 90’s, though I haven’t worn them in a while.

They never have yet, but then it’s been about 20 years since I flew anywhere.

I haven’t bought Levis in over 25 years. Overpriced and decided not to support to San Fran perverts. Wrangler makes a great pair of jeans, and for the last few years have worn Red Head from Bass Pro. They are always a sale for Black Friday and for around $11-12. As good as any other jeans.
