What Kevin is saying is that it wasn’t too long ago that the Dims would deride conservative blacks who weren’t descendants of U.S. slaves by saying they weren’t “authentically black” or not really African American as the Dims define it. Now, of course, the Dims don’t say that because they need their hero to be black.
Al Sharpton said Obama wasn’t authentically black. That didn’t seem to stop him any.
