OJ was guilty, but the jury wasn’t going to convict no matter what the evidence.
Had OJ been tried in the Santa Monica courthouse where he was supposed to be tried because of the location of the crime, he most likely would have been found guilty due to the racial composition of the jury. Instead, the stupid DA at the time, as I recall it was John Van Decamp, decided to move the trial to the LA downtown courthouse. He claimed it was for better security. That courthouse has a different jury racial makeup which had a reputation of being problematical for both criminal and civil trials.
