Here’s the problem: Before their advent, everyone else lived differently. There were payphones all over the place. Little League moms would assume you have at least texting l, if not facebook. The bank website requires dual factor authentication often requiring a smartphone. etc

Doing banking on your smartphone is not a great idea anyways, lol. Another thing that really pisses me off is having no control over your voicemail. You should be able to turn your voicemail OFF.
