We have imagery of SWAT, Beaver and Butler County LE assets, somewhere reported as a Local LE sniper team in these two buildings, as below:

These two shots are almost directly below where Crooks lay.

Using internal stairs, the covered connectors between the two buildings, the 2nd floor window perch, and the first floor of the building on which Crooks lay, LE could maneuver in air conditioned comfort if they would start to feel warm.

In addition to the 2nd floor window, they could have used an open window even closer (e.g, 373' from PDJT's podium), as in post #67. That shows a possible location for a professional sniper who might have been the one to wound PDJT's ear.
