We will never see pre-biden grocery prices again. A decline perhaps butt.............
Sounds fantastic!
But bugs will always be in season and have zero contribution to “climate change.”
Eat up slaves. Bugs is on the menu. Maybe if you’re lucky your monthly ration of salt and hot sauce will last.
I’m automatically suspicious of guys with hyphenated names.
from Wikipedia:
“On June 8, 2023, AeroFarms filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.[7] AeroFarms emerged from its bankruptcy in September 2023 following the court’s approval of its restructuring plan involving major investors such as Grosvenor Food & AgTech and Doha Venture Capital,[8] and stated that it was once again nearing profitability. The company has ceased spending on all of its projects excluding its Danville farm as part of its post-bankruptcy turnaround plan”
Sounds like a real winner. Go away

The Soviets screwed with central planning of food production. Millions died.
The ChiComs screwed with central planning of food production. Millions died.
The Khmer Rouge screwed with central planning of food production. Millions died.
The globalists are screwing with central planning of food production.
What do you suppose the outcome will be?
Which reminds me, I need to go full Mormon on food storage.
Thank you and I am glad that https://archive.is/ provides a useful service.

Well, depends on what’s meant by “local”, and how far away can it be and still be local. It can be done. and has been for thousands of years before “globalism”. For me, living in little N.J., “local” is within the state. Other states may just be the same county or township.
“Rates of undernourishment have grown 21 percent since 2017...[and yet?] Obesity has continued to rise,”
Go figure. In addition to inventing new techno-babble jargon, the article provides no links to any actual data to support its ridiculous assertions. He/She/It is just making things up and the Old Gray Lady is fine with that.
Yes, all the GMO stuff.
Anyone with any sense and any wherewithal needs to.
And if they simply can't, they need to make contingency plans with a close relative who is on board with that.

I could probably stretch to 5-6 months with what is on hand, FWIW. But I need to take that to the full year, plus just be more organized about it.
I use 1/2 gallon canning jars for storing grains, pasta, and stuff.
I also save glass pasta jars or nut better jars for herbs and spices.
They form an air tight, mouse and bug proof barrier.
I had some ant bait under the sink at our cottage and this spring found the boxes and the plastic bait stations all chewed up and the bait all gone. I hope it killed the mice.
