And there is the core problem;; when socialists and other Democrats start treating government money like they treat their own money, then the country can have intelligent discussions about "how much do we spend on the care and feeding of illegal aliens, should we provide defined benefit pensions to government employees if it causes a budget deficit", and so on
until then, it's just some crazy old commie like Sanders ranting about spending money we don't have.

Defined benefit pensions provided via government should be limited to Social Security level amounts.
Government employees should not be shielded against the investment market risks most Americans face.
Harris took $20 billion from American banks and their shareholders. Government employees as indirect shareholders suffered not a penny of loss.
Government defined benefit pensions in excess of Social Security amounts should be struck down as per Brown vs. Board of Education.
