The election is tomorrow I believe. If Maduro loses, that will be interesting. If he wins, that will mean it’s fixed. He’s already blocked two candidates from the ballot. He let their replacement proceed because he thinks he can beat him.
We're heading into the same direction in USA. The last time we had a real primary in the Democratic Party was in 2008.
