The country was unified (largely) against Trump being shot. Then the Democrat Party felt the need split the country and try to break any sympathy or respect for Trump. Apparently "I was shot for democracy" was gaining traction and Dems want to break that as soon as possible.
On Gutfeld's show last night he quoted Trump's doctor saying that it was a bullet wound with the way the flesh was dug out. A fragment would have had a more jagged wound.
IMHO, this 3-minute excerpt of a video by Brandon Herrera of Ballistic High-Speed, reasonably shows (depending in part how similar his simulated ear material matches the cartlidge of a 77-year old man) what likely happened to PDJTs ear.
(It would not have been like being hit by a stray piece of broken glass!)
I don't think PDJT would willingly let himself be subjected to this by the relatively inexperienced Crooks no matter how much election-enhancing value he possibly could have gotten out of it.
