It’s possible Trump is communicating the idea that as a believer in the Gospel of Christ, he doesn’t regard the mockery of those who try to mock him.

It seems the word “Christian” was coined by those who mocked Christians in ancient times.

Which nevertheless describes a certain class of persons, which are describes as being believers in the risen Lord God Jesus, and opposed by those who are not.
