Mrs Guano and I were active in Special Olympics and the program is more than worthwhile. To see the youngsters give their best to ski, skate, or swim and run in competition is heartening.
They are “Special “ because, knowing their limitations, they compete anyway.

"I would rather watch the Special Olympics for its uncorruptable purity and joy. I wasn't ribbing the Special Olympics at all!
