A Ukrainian superyacht stewardess who was caught on a doorbell camera beating up her three-year-old son has avoided jail time.
Yulia Storozhuk, 29, became emotional as she took a plea deal negotiated with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's office on Thursday.
The mom was caught on a neighbor's Ring doorbell camera hurling her defenseless child down a hallway before kicking him multiple times.
'I am very sorry, I'm a single mom and it was only one incident where I let my emotions get the better of me,' Storozhuk previously told the court through an interpreter, NBC reports.
Her pleas appeared to appease Judge Carmen Carbarga who sentenced her to three years' probation.

Well, yeah that’s a well worn trope. And it’s still true at a 50,000 foot view. Coming to Jesus is a great first step. But that won’t by itself address the issues that she’s got to deal with that are triggering this kind of anger directed at her child. She’s got a deep seated frustration seething in there. Call it a demon if you like. But sadly, with or without a religious conversion, she’s going to get in trouble again unless she gets some really honest introspection and therapy.
Judges always come down hard on men, but not women. If this were a man, he’d get jail time, but being a “single mother”, usually by choice, gets the sympathy of the court.
Institutionalized and abused children react like that. They have no experience of anyone reacting to their cries with help or care and so stop crying.
There’s a lower level of abuse that occurs with children in daycare. Normal children react to strangers by looking at them and smiling. Daycare babies don’t react to strangers or turn away. It’s the beginnings of anti-social behavior.
I took a class on child development back in the olden days when American child care was almost always mother care with an intact family. Our case studies and data were mostly from war torn countries and foreign government orphanages. America was very different back then. I never thought I’d see those children in this country.

Which, as a woman, has ALWAYS disgusted me when other women do it.
I grew up with four sisters. Crying to get out of trouble doesn’t work on me. As a NCO, I’ve grabbed a box of tissues and slammed them on the desk in front of little manipulators.
However, there was one case where the girl who was found to have been working at a strip club on the outside of town. I was the unit first sergeant. The worst part of the situation was although she was in her early twenties she looked about 12 years old. She played up child-like, giggly behavior and tried to argue she was manipulated by her husband.
When I read her the statement of her rights and told her she had an appointment with the Area Defense Counsel, she turned into Linda Blair in “The Exorcist.” She glared at me and growled “Well, will that make a difference?”
I told her the legal counsel will help her and meeting with them was in her best interest. After I sent her down the hall to a waiting area, I turned to her supervisor who had gone pale and was visibly shaking. She said “I never saw that side of her before.”
She was hired to be a prostitute. Yachts go beyond the 12 mile limits so the billionaires that own the yachts can do all manner of evil and unlawful things without worrying about being accountable by any countries. It is why they own the yachts. Any horror story that you can imagine a person might do if they could held accountable happens on these yachts and international law cannot enforce any standards because a country’s jurisdiction only goes out to 12 miles before it is international waters and nobody can do anything.
Or a woman doing the same thing to a dog.
The kid is just biding his time......one day when he's older, he'll just pick up an axe and whack her......

I just watched the video. This goes way beyond discipline. This is hating the kid and blaming the child because she can’t go out and party. She looks like another one of those morons who just can’t put down that stupid smart phone.
You would be surprised at how many people think that men are the only gender capable of abuse.
I learned that was definitely not the case from my first marriage.

Yep. She's not sorry. She's just sorry she was caught. A female judge would not have fallen for the pretty-girl-in-tears crap.
Oh wait, judge Carmen?? Maybe it was a female judge. Dang, if that’s the case, she’s too dumb to be a judge.
I’m wondering who owns the yacht….
