One was a full sized car, the other a minivan., What the exact capacities are/were, I don't know.
In both cases, I seem to recall initially adding about half a quart of Lucas and then following up a week or two later with maybe half a quart and that was it. No further leaks.

In both cases, I seem to recall initially adding about half a quart of Lucas and then following up a week or two later with maybe half a quart and that was it. No further leaks.As I recall, in both situations, car and minivan, the reservoirs were about 1/2 - 2/3 empty.
I added Lucas to the fill lines.
Sometime later, the level had fallen to maybe 2/3 full. This seemed normal since the seals and gaskets needed some time to rejuvenate.
I topped off with Lucas and never needed to add more.
