I don’t know much about her, so thank you for that background.
That said, if she was a just a pop star interested in making money, I would have zero problem with it, as you can guess.
But she seems bound and determined to use her platform, audience, and money to influence the course of this country in what I see as a completely destructive way.
I cannot comment on her music, as I don’t listen at all, to any of it.
But being a conservative, posting on FR, it isn’t surprising I would look askance at someone who uses their fame and money to advance the causes of people I regard as enemies of this Republic.
I try not to pass judgement on people who like her music, but it is difficult for me, in the same way I see buying a car from a company that has UAW workers building it, because their money goes to those same kind of people.
I wish I could go back to a time in my life when that kind of thing meant less to me, but I guess things once seen cannot be unseen.

That is 180 degrees from what she is doing. She has been pretty good at staying out of this stuff. She only stuck her nose in before was in response to comments made about her.
Trust me, Trump does NOT want the Swiftie Army actually working against him. They may not all vote, but there are a lot of them out there. And they are steadfastly loyal.
Well said.
