Wow, quite the spread there- which is it? 40% or 75%? There must be an average.
I would suppose those percentages differ according to the overall health of the population group studied. I would expect it to be high among groups with weakened immune systems because of existing conditions such as diabetes. The lower percentage probably applies to younger adults without any pre existing conditions. It also probably differs according to the patient’s access to health care and current living conditions.
