I used to enjoy watching some events in both the winter and summer Olympics. I didn’t enjoy listening to announcers, in love with the sound of their own voices, gabbing over the entire event. I don’t plan to watch anymore.
You just described every televised sporting event in the USA. Announcers and “color” commentators don’t know when to shut up.
