12 hours ago (edited) I want to thank President Trump for coming on this episode of Break 50! It was an honor to play a round with the former president and raise a ton of money for the Wounded Warrior Project. This was all meant to be about golf, good fun, and supporting a great cause. I’ve also added the Wounded Warrior Project as a fundraiser on this video for those of you who would like to take part in giving back to our nation’s veterans as well!
Edit: To confirm and clear any speculation, the Break 50 video with President Trump was filmed during the first week of July, before I traveled overseas and prior to the incident that occurred in Butler, PA.
Found it:
The PGA of America announced Tuesday that it has settled a dispute with the Trump Organization regarding the PGA’s decision to cancel its contract with Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., to host the 2022 PGA Championship.
The PGA of America awarded its flagship event to Trump Bedminster in May 2014, prior to Donald Trump announcing his bid for the U.S. presidency.
.... this January, days after supporters of President Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol during a joint session of Congress to formalize President Joe Biden’s election victory, the PGA of America’s board of directors exercised a vote to move its tournament from the Bedminster property, later awarding it to Southern Hills in Tulsa.
So it was a Major!
Wow...
As in many shooting disciplines, consistency can be more important than "correct" technique.
try this:
but it was the same each and every time

The current Sec. of PGA of America —President next year—is local, a former customer, acquaintance, and former minor league umpire. In my business dealings with him, he was very umpire like in that it didn’t take him long to make a good decision. (he bought my product, ha! ).
Therefore, I have confidence in them going forward and expect Trump back in the fold in coming years.
I donated a lot of product to his junior golf program when I sold my business and text him (Don Rea) occasionally text him re: golf ball roll back, or Keegan’s Ryder Cup captaincy.....he welcomed agreeing feedback....so that confirms he’s pretty damn smart, eh ?...and won’t make similar snap incorrect judgments .
I don’t recall who was at the helm in 2017 , but iirc, one of the influential board members moved over from NBC and likely instigated the anti-Trump rebellion.
He’s gone now but it still sticks in my craw. Golf pros are independent businessmen, play by rules, and are generally conservative. Ditto Tour pros, plus completely merit based.
