This is possible, she becomes 47th, then Trump 48th. But Biden could use 25th, making her acting president, not fully turning over to her. I don’t think she’d get numbered in that case.
If she gets to be Pres., her ‘Presidential’ actions should be a disaster. So the sooner the better, maybe.

I concur but with a slightly different basis for that reasoning. There are already millions of $$ in the Biden campaign. If they try to move the money to the Harris campaign, it can be tied up in lawsuits. But if Biden is “unalive” then the money can be far more easily moved over to fund the Harris campaign.
Entirely plausible, especially as her polling drifts downward into oblivion. We’ll see.

- Harris named president.
- Names Newsome or Whitmer as vice.
- Pardons Joe and Hunter of any crimes.
- Drops out of election citing family reasons allowing the selection of the new vice to be the presumptive presidential candidate.
Question. If the above were to happen, would the Newsom/Whitmer have access to the Biden/Harris campaign coffers?
I predicted that she had a 100% chance of becoming president when she took office. Only one other vice president had a 100% chance of being president and that was Gerald Ford. I have been sweating for a few months now but it looks really good right now. I don’t like being wrong.
Could be. I think dems are whistling past the graveyard right now, thinking Harris is somehow not as awful as they feared, but she will bring them back to reality as soon as she opens her yap.
I think the gameplan all along as been to run out the clock with Biden and use the convention to swap in a new candidate just like they did when it was Hillary’s turn the first time, and they picked Obama instead.
They just ran out of Joe before they ran out of time. But I still think the two scariest words to many Dems are “President Harris”.

This is a tougher situation than it appears at first. This is not an Obama do-over. This will be an explicitly anti-white election, which will be won or lost on Trump-Vance’s ability to run an “it’s OK to be white” campaign - which the GOP doesn’t like, doesn’t want, and has never shown skill at.
A Willie Horton ad won’t git ‘er done - Kamala was a prosecutor, locked up a lot of brothers for weed, and she will have no enemies on the Left. Her VP will be a white Southerner.
Trump and his team have to dissect and tear down all the implicit anti-whiteness of DEI, of “civil rights”, and openly confront the loud and proud anti-white voices in the Dems coalition.
Forget the rappers. Forget the bald porn star. Forget letting blacks out of jail. Forget the platinum plan. That all died Saturday afternoon.
Will Trump and his team cop on? I doubt it. I think he’s a sincere CivNat, and Vance’s room to maneuver before Trump will have to disavow is going to be very narrow.

I’ve been saying Trump 48 for a few days now.
I think he is 45 and Biden/Harris should be annulled because election fraud.
I think the deal that was struck was that Biden would endorse so long he keeps the presidency and they don’t 25th him. So it will need to be illness or “other means” taking out Biden if Harris is to be president in the interim. Jill does not want Harris as president. I always pray for my president to make wise choices, but now I’m actually praying for Biden’s health not to fail before Trump takes office. What a strange world we now live in.
I think we will know how probable this is based on Biden‘s planned addressed to the nation tomorrow night. If he manages to pull it off OK, and maybe makes a few public appearances in the next week or so, this is a bit less likely. However, if he gives his address, poorly, and goes into hiding, I see this as a possibility.
