But RUMINT is that there we some swearing in ceremonies. For sure there were some NYPD sworn in as "Special Officers". I heard some in Texas as well, but have yet to confirm.

Nancy Drew in DC says there is no evidence of US Marshals over on Facebook.
There was also a swearing in of 4000 NG and other LEO as special deputy US marshals in 2021. I do not know if there was a time limit on the deputation of the officers.
