“Wray has lost his attitude and belligerence.
Heβs feeling insecure as the winds are changing.”
I agree. I’ve been watching this as I can this morning and noticed that he’s not as cocky as he normally is.
But what has bothered me the most, is the vacuousness of the questions being asked by the republicans. Chip Roy had some good ones but generally the questions are general and many seem to be oriented about security, not a forensic investigation.
As usual, the dems are just pontificating about gun control.
One thing that was new to me, was that 8 rounds were found near the body, as mentioned in earlier posts. Not impressed by this because he was at the shooting range the day before and anyone could have picked up some of his brass.
You would think that these congresscritters would have had someone on their staffs scanning the internet for questions that people were asking or “conspiracies” that were floating around.
So far, no one has asked about the audio analysis of the shots, which I think would be a big question, since there is audio that “seems” to indicate there were at least two different guns, not including the killshot.
Spot on Larry.
I wondered if THIS headline had something to do with Wray’s deferential and respectful tone and decent answers:
See how this is going to work, given that Congress is boxed in from sending referrals to the JD/FBI when asking of them that “they go investigate themselves”.
The People can strike a note, by taking these sharks OWN wallets, in their own pockets through a little Reverse LAWFARE in a Civil Court!
BeeeUttifulll!! π

Do you really expect our GOP reps to actually be in touch and up to speed? I certainly don’t.
Re the vacuousness of the questions being asked:
I felt the same way. {{sigh}}
