It’s pretty freakin’ odd that the drop in fertility is so coincident with a pandemic [and it’s response?] in their past...The film Children of Men is set in 2027 after a pandemic and other disasters. Lines up with covid and years of booster shots and the current drop in fertility rates.

I understand that. In the film, there was a “flu pandemic” in 2008 that took the main characters son and resulted in separation from his wife.
