Many attendees appeared to have come primarily for the performance, as a noticeable number of them BEGAN TO LEAVE the arena once Kamala Harris started her speech.
On site report/video (BELOW): "She spoke for maybe 30 minutes so it was a pretty short speech. I was honestly surprised to see people leaving so quickly and started filming after seeing continuous streams of people leaving fairly quickly after seeing her."

Why are all the photos, (NYT, Politico, etc.) tight shots that show 20-60 people with blurred out backgrounds.
It was slightly bigger than a high school rally.
I scanned 50 articles/ photos and can't come up with ~3k max.
Kamala was an post-script after-thought INSERT to an ENTERTAINMENT VENUE with electronic ads and signs distributed.
