The FBI formally said today, on the record, that the 5 1/2 foot ladder purchased by Thomas Crooks was not used at the rally shooting. The FBI confirmed that the ladder was left behind at the home on the day of the shooting. It had previously been reported that Crooks used a 5.5 ladder to get access to the American Glass Research building, from whose roof Crooks took several shots at the President.

NOTE we have several “facts” disseminated early on that became part of the original narrative that appear to have been dismantled - for example I understand the “purchased 50 rounds of ammo” line wasn’t feasible because they are only sold in boxes of 20 ... now the ladder is removed from the picture - I’d heard recently the receipt was found at his home and now we have the ladder there as well. Supposedly these things were acquired right before the attack. But they don’t seem to have happened ... how could such key points be broadcast right off the bat - seems like planted.
