what do the electors for Biden do?
Vote for kammy even if her name isn’t on the ballot?

Yes, that’s my understanding. Since voters are actually voting for an elector, I believe that the electors have the ability to vote for their party’s candidate when it’s time for the electors to cast their votes in December, provided proper channels have been followed to replace the original candidate whose name still appears on the ballots. The name on the ballot is just a pointer, of sorts, so the voter can identify otherwise unknown electors. It would probably be more accurate for the ballot to show “Elector for Joseph Biden” in front of the box to be ticked.
An interesting side note... American citizens have no Constitutional right to vote for POTUS❗ The Constitution states that each state will determine the method of choosing a president; that choice will be executed by a group of electors that ... blah, blah, blah.
All states have established their own constitutions that outline the electoral process, clarified by the individual state legislature as needed.
Thus in 2000 SCOTUS told the Florida Supreme Court to stand aside in the Bush vs Gore dust up - a proper Constitutional principle that has infuriated the Dems.
In 2020 individual state Sec States and/or governors interfered and wrote or changed election laws without legislative endorsement. Incredibly ❗❗❗ SCOTUS declined to hear cases challenging such practices❓
