NH update.
Progress has been slow because I was holding down the house here in MA because my wife was working full-time. So I had to work a 40 hour a week job, plus maintain the house and take care of all the animals. Also my friend DJ, who has helped me a lot, was busy with other jobs then he got diagnosed with bladder cancer. He had his last surgery earlier this week and I’m happy to report his first surgery is doing well and he is now clean. Once he recovers we will finish the exterior sheathing on the home with ZIP system sheathing. It’s completely waterproof if installed correctly and it lasts way further than Typar plastic garbage.
Once the sheathing is done I need to level the circumference of the frame and install lally columns to sure up the frame.
After that is I need to re-skirt it. The vinyl crap will go and be replaced by exterior grade framing on top of flat cement blocks. I’ll go over that with ZIP system with the appropriate venting for air flow. I plan on going over the ZIP system on the house with log cabin style panels. The skirting with be faux stone panels. By the end it’s going to look amazing.
There’s a 40x40 four car garage there now with a loft. It’s huge. My ATV is in there and we’ve begun moving stuff up there for storage I brought the generator my dad gave me years ago up there and recharged the ATV battery. I went up yesterday and spent the night. I had a lot of work to do for work but also got the grass cut, worked more on the shiplap wall behind the fireplace, and burned the rest of what was a large brush pile in the back yard in my firepit there.
The goal for the sheathing is to get it done by mid-August then I can work on the skirting and leveling while DJ hooks up our cooktop and washer/dryer and a few other odd jobs.

Wow that is quite an update. A lot on your plate for sure. When it’s all done you’ll have to post some pics.
