It’s a cunnundrum.
Vance is very probably the best pick to be vice president.... IF THEY WIN.
The problem is if they don’t win (or if it’s a close win but the other side cheats), then it doesn’t matter. He is an afterthought until the next election cycle.
This is why I predicted that Vance would not be the pick. Trump is going to win Ohio anyway, and it’s sad to cave in to identity politics but sometimes you have to think strategically, because that’s what the other side is doing.
As always, the real headwind isn’t going to be the quality of the opponent, but the power and influence of the media.
The only course now is to fully commit to winning and pulling out all the stops. It has to be too big of a margin for cheating to be a factor
But it is Politico, and if everything they say is a lie, he is a perfect choice, and the one they are the most afraid of.
The focus so far is the cat woman statement Vance made. I wish the media would focus on issues.
