I don’t know, but could it be possible that he is an autistic person?

I have witnessed similar meltdowns before…I am an autistic as well, but not as prone to meltdowns. As I became older and gathered more life experience, they got better. Though, in my case, they had never been that bad to begin with, thank God.

Honestly, yeah that's a good guess. Autism seems to be much more prevalent these days. Dr. Gabor Maté has an interesting take on this. Short clip, he suggests that it's not that these people diagnosed as such are abnormal, but rather our society has become abnormal and these conditions (such as autism) are normal responses to abnormal circumstances. I think this lecture might go into more detail. It's been a long time since I stumbled upon his work.

I don’t even give them the benefit of the doubt anymore that they might be disabled or mentally ill. What they are doing is highly destructive to our country and they have to be stopped.

I suspect you may have a point there. Many a personality idiosyncrasy could be autism. I’m certainly no authority.

I have a relative that perpetually talks, she dominates all conversations. When she’s thinking what to say next she hums in an effort dominate the conversation. She rudely interrupts anyone else and goes off on a totally different tangent. She was like this as a little girl. She’s quite intelligent. The volume of her voice is slightly above the rest and in a restaurant people just stare at her. One teenage grand kid refers to her as “the crazy old lady”.

And her personality is identical to her mother and one of her toddler grand kids chatters continuously. I’m convinced it’s hereditary.

A few years back I discovered on an internet search this was a form of autism. I have not been able to duplicate that search to learn more.
