When John Lennon was murdered in NYC writer Pete Hamill wrote a piece on it and the aftermath. He managed to get into the morgue where Lennons body was as a writer/reporter. He wrote there on a slab lay the 1960s. One of the most haunting lines I’ve ever read. It might be an exaggeration but not by much.
