It appears that the woman called 911, when the cops arrived she got into some kind of confrontation and wound up getting shot. She may have threatened him with boiling water, or otherwise wound him up. He may have lost his temper, and overreacted. Cops cannot be allowed to do that.

There was another case recently, where some scamsters sent an uber driver to pick up money demanded in an extortion scam from the intended victim. The intended victim was an older white man. The black female uber driver was an innocent participant. The intended victim held her at gunpoint and shot her dead. She was not threatening him. The guy was just wrong. I don’t think the extortionist has been caught, but he/they are clearly guilty of felony murder. That doesn’t absolve the shooter.
