There are plenty of Copeland copycats out there: Bickle, Morris, Wommack, Deplantis, White-Kain, Kunnemann, Cindy Jacobs, the Sheets brothers, to name a few.
I don’t think demon possessed false prophets have ever been small in number. Modern communications/broadcasting has simply been taken advantage of by the devil, making some much more noticeable to those that know the scriptures.
The fact so many gullible people follow these false prophets is really sad.
Yes. It is incredibly sad indeed.
I was involved in the word of faith mess for about 5 years and it shattered my faith which I didn’t return to for 20 until after my husband passed away unexpectedly and I wound up in the darkest place in my life. A place so bad that if God hadn’t intervened I’d be dead and in hell. I have little doubt.
The damage false teachers cause has made many turn away from any form of religion. Those men and women will have to answer for it and I’d hate to be in their shoes.
