Biden Administration Allows Military Aid to Ukraine’s Azov Brigade

A State Department spokesman on Monday stated that Ukraine’s infamous Azov Brigade will now be eligible to receive military aid, claiming that Ukraine’s current Azov Brigade is structurally distinct from its past iterations as a National Guard unit formed from a ultranationalist militia with neo-Nazi elements.

The unit had many ties with various neo-Nazi and ultranationalist groups. Its founder, Andriy Biletsky, had in the past publicly stated that he believed that the “mission” of the Ukrainian nation was to “lead the white races of the world in a final crusade…against Semite-led Untermenschen.”

Russia has responded to the Biden administration’s move by stating that Washington is “flirting with Neo-Nazis.”

Congress specifically listed the AZOV unit as ineligible for aid, as recently as in the 2022 Defense Appropriations. Either the Ukraine is using blackmail to squeeze more money out of Brandon, or the Brandon regime is pro-actively covering its crimes, and those of the DNC, in the Ukraine.

Funny how neocons denied the existence of Neo-Nazis in Ukraine, even while the Azov Brigade was being sanctioned for being just that.

And now the Biden administration is openly supplying them, whitewashing their past. But many of the same people are involved, and there is no evidence of a change of heart in them.

In a June 16 interview with the news channel of Ukraine’s army, Armiya TV, an Azov commander admitted to his unit being used to prevent other Ukrainian units from retreating. 

Dmitry Kukharchuk, the commander of the Second Battalion of Ukraine’s Third Assault Brigade, the current iteration of the neo-Nazi-linked unit, recounts a moment in 2022 when his unit was positioned behind a unit of Ukraine’s territorial defense forces (TRO) to prevent its retreat:

We [Azov] were motivational troops then. We then helped the 110th brigade of the TRO. I can't say anything bad about them, because for a TRO they fought quite well, but, again, as a TRO they had to be motivated. And then my detachment—I was then the commander of a detachment of 500 men—was evenly distributed along a 25-kilometer line….

I think the direct funding and equipping of PURE NAZIS pretty much represents the high point, so far, in the DESPERATION of the Neocons to carry this conflict through the November elections. It’s almost like we’re now taking sides with Hitler, during WW2.
