He may be more subdued. I hope not. I like Trump feisty. I like it when he's making the Dems squirm.
I can't pretend to know what he's feeling, but he's been through an awful lot. He's human. If it were me, it would take me a couple of weeks to internally process that event on Saturday.

Yes, he was subdued. Seems appropriate to the moment to me. Shot last Saturday and welcomed as a conquering hero into a united party convention of the states.
I doubt he needed any pain meds for a wounded ear. I'm sure it throbs, as any fresh wound like that does, but it wouldn't be that bad and he's just not the kind of guy to take meds he doesn't need.
Doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, barely sleeps and runs his half-century younger staff to exhaustion trying to keep up. Maybe he's on some aspirin or ibuprofen.
