I just finished watching one of Alexander Mercouris' videos about the war in the Ukraine. The YOUTUBE video is 1 hour 32 minutes in length. Alexander is prolific, recording on average 2 videos per day, each about an hour and a half in length. I will defer making notes on his Trump assassination content to another of his more recent videos.
Mercouris said the Ukraine's Chief of Military Intelligence (at 45:20 in video) confirmed Ukraine has made several attempts to assassinate Putin, and those have been unsuccessful. MSM is not reporting this information. It was shocking to people that he admitted it, especially after the Ukraine has been claiming Putin is trying to assassinate Zelensky, which Mercouris doesn't believe.
For those familiar with the geography of the Ukraine, Mercouris provides details about the fighting starting at 108:40 in the video, Mercouris begins his review of the fighting with a statements that the Russians have stabilized their hold over Volchansk. The rest of his review touches on specific towns or villages that I don't know how to spell or don't recognize (significance). Though the fighting is vigorous, the Russians continue to prevail.Mercouris ends his video with the following anecdote about propaganda fatigue, even among the Ukraine's supporters:
Journalist Julian Rebeka (phoentic spelling) who works for a publication I can't spell but sounds like 'Bilt Sieten', and is a fervid supporter of Ukraine, posted on X.com:
"If the Russian Army is uneducated and untrained, using bikes instead of tanks, leaving behind their wounded, out of fresh water and starving, what does this say about the Ukrainian Army losing almost every battle against the Russians since August 2023?
And without bitter sarcasm, I am so tired of all the cheap laughs about biking, piss drinking, and ugly Russians. Either it's not representative at all, for the real situation, or the Ukrainian Army is in a comparable or even worse state.
As a true friend of Ukraine, I'm worried about the future of the country. The current domestic and international policies in connection with the war, are not leading to the de-occupation of the country. They are leading into the abyss."
That would be Julian Roepke, a pro-Ukrainian journalist suffering from bouts of realism.
Recent days’ Ukrainian casualty numbers are horrific.
They’re going to break.
It didn’t have to be this way.
Alexander is the best commentator I know of. Remarkably good.
LOL I really laughed out loud. Isn't this the 50th time you guys have promised us a decisive Kesselschlacht?
The only thing close to a cauldron I see are the Russian troops in Vovchansk.
Politicians in DC and Europe are skimming the money, enriching themselves while poor saps on the field die for nothing.
The Politicians want the war to continue, as they benefit.
Nope, this is about THE Ukie ABSCHLACHT!
Ja. Wo ist die ‘’schwerpunkt?
...Though the fighting is vigorous, the Russians continue to prevail...
Deployment of drones have changed the nature of war.
When a drone locks on, you and your tanks are dead.
A dozen soldiers in a bradley are quickly destroyed
I believe that is why neither side forms up large concentrations of troops and tanks. They are quickly spotted (sattelites) and destroyed
The Russians adapted and deployed “turtle tanks”. That worked until The Ukes adapted.
I understand Russians are putting soldiers on motocycles. 20-30 motorcycles spread out and move at high speed towards a destination. The drones, and drone operators, have difficulty locking on. For now. I expect adjustments will be made
The Ukraine war is certainly changing the nature of warfare. Ukraine is wrecking armored vehicles with drones you or I could be in an electronics department.
....and Russian drones wrecked The Ukraine’s tanks, German Leopards, US Abrahms, British Challehgers, and all sorts of NATO gear with engines.
Nobody is fighting out in the open fields
