If there was a second shooter (which I highly doubt), what good would it do for them to fire into the top of the stands? Looks to me like these supposed rounds are hitting nowhere near the podium.

According to that theory, that other shooter might have been trying to take out the s.s. sniper (or draw their fire?):

It is interesting that the s.s. sniper looks up and then ducks down before regrouping and firing off a shot. Did he hear a bullet whizzing by his head?
