Crooks missed because Trump sharply turned his head down and to the right, to speak directly to the audience in that area, at the same moment the shot was fired fired.

The shooter was sighting Trump in profile, shooting at the right side of Trump's head.

When the bullet arrived, Trump was literally face to face with the shooter, and the bullet skimmed the right side of Trump's face.

Also, two of the aerial photos indicate the shooter had to fire over the extended edge of the bleacher seats on Trump's right.

My speculation - the shooter's view was blocked by standing spectators in that right side bleacher, because Crooks did not fire until Trump had been onstage for almost eight minutes.

I read an account earlier, apparently from X, from someone called “HealthRanger”, a possible theory that the Secret Service inside the the building that the alleged shooter was on were the ones who fired the shots at Trump. In that theory, Crooks didn’t get off a shot. He was there to be the patsy who was killed as a convenient scapegoat. I don’t know if that was possible, with whoever then fired the shots being at ground level, firing thru a window.

Anyone have a video of the entire front of that building as the shots were fired? I would post a link but I can’t find it again…
