He’ll be assigned a job...mopping the jail/prison three or four times a day, kitchen duty, laundry, picking up trash on the roadside. And the new guy is always the target for fun and games of all sorts.

Well,it’s not exactly a death penalty offense.
I served 5 years in my church’s prison ministry and spent time in no less than 6 Florida state prison facilities.....it ain’t exactly the Holiday Inn. 😏

No kidding. I believe a small segment of these people are doing it for this purpose. The ones who are already accustomed to living in prison.
