Depends on the tower. I’ve been on one with a walkway 6 feet wide. The railing or fencing would interfere with pivoting a rifle on a tripod, but you could at least use it as a lookout spit.
Was Crooks on the rally grounds at anytime on the day this happened. Or, did he come from behind the building ..climb ac unit with his riffle and bookbag. Which could be done.
I don't know if 'rhetorical pile-on' otherwise known as baffle 'em with BS is recognized as a propaganda tactic identified and shared as such with the citizens but it sure does leave a lot of dead end trails that complicates investigations and eats up the time it takes to complete such investigations before the results are released to the public, through the controlled media.
And for lesser events like school shootings it helps the story just fade away.

They claim he bought a ladder the morning of the shooting. How was he able to get it into position?
This story claims he climbed up an air conditioner, but I’ve seen pictures of a ladder leaning against the roof.
He brought a van, bike, and ladder along with a rifle and he was able to get the ladder and rifle onto the property while tons of people are milling about. The rifle could potentially be hidden, but the ladder? Plus, is it reasonable to think he brought the ladder, rifle, and bike in one trip? Nobody noticed some kid with a ladder heading to the factory?
It appears to all be improvised. The “transmitter” is a garage door opener. Garage door opener transmitter/receivers are a common component in IEDs, including those in Iraq and Afghanistan. I’ll bet there are plenty of instructions online showing how to use them.
I have a hard time believing he had a ladder with him. but then again i am amazed their were supposedly cops in the building. A cop saw him and did nothing for several minutes?

Can also believe cops supposedly doing next to nothing. Cops question Jeffery Dahmer ..who had a young teen asian boy with him ...and they let him go... later Dahmer killed the kid.
Where is the bottom half of that photo showing the dead shooter in a pool of his own blood? I posted it on FR’s FB page and FB covered it as “against community standards”
