I remember during one of the tornado times I waas leaving the Cherryvale Mall in nearby Cherry Valley, and the sky was a sepia toned brown-yellow. It looked like trouble so I raced home, listening to reports on the radio. It was about 3:30PM. Scary and exhilarating at the same time.
