Do you know what direction the water tower was from everything else? I’ve tried to find a photo or diagram that included it but none of them extended out far enough. Was it at an angle that would match an exit wound on the neck?

Try Google earth. I seem to recall it was to the left of the shooter, so a neck shot would be likely. The blood pattern on perp from tbat spot looks pretty thick and wide and ran from that location down to his face. That seems to fit as well since he was in the prone position
So much easier to security at a biden rally. After staff, media, and security are all vetted the handful of people who do attend are easy to check out. Most likely when insano gun guy shows up they won’t let him in.
They’d probably just demolish the buildings and bury the rubble, like they did at Waco and OKC, IIRC.
There’s a water tower. I have read that there was a countersniper there, and that he was the one who killed Crooks. Whether either is true, I don’t know.
Search online maps for the satellite view of the Butler Farm Show. It looks like the water tower would have the rooftop in full view,
Now if you don’t put a lookout at least on your tallest point, the watertower, you aren’t doing your job. Better, lookout plus sniper plus drone.
Crooks could disappear in the narrow passage between buildings, far side of buildings, or into buildings, and that’s where ground teams should have found him.
