Romney is a NE classic democrat.
He started as a Dem then moved to the Republicans party when he started getting beat by other Dems. It’s a sad commentary on “us” that he shot to the top after switching.
I didn’t know that Mitt started as a Democrat. Thought he was formerly an “Independent”. George and Lenore were liberal Republicans from the start, as I recall reading.
