I laugh at liberals, especially women, who want all those extra leftist voters, let’s say of the horde of many millions of illegal invaders (or incompatible legal immigrants for same reasons), 5% could be dangerous felons including rapists, 70% are likely to be future welfare bums who might occasionally cut a liberal’s lawn and do their dishes for half the going rate but raise their taxes by ten times more, and 25% are probably future social conservatives opposed to their woke socialist agenda, including not a few very macho male chauvinists who view and treat women and girls in the “old-fashioned way.”

I guess liberals view all this as short term gain for long term pain they can deny until it cannot be denied. And living mostly in cities where the illegals will congregate, the pain will fall mostly on them anyway. Out here in the boondocks, few illegals will settle (I’m speaking from across the border anyway but there are similar tendencies in Canada and in all “western” countries to some extent). Our bucolic deplorable lives will not change as much, and that’s a good thing.

It’s a classic case of be careful what you wish for. “You’re right, Trump is a terrible man. Gotta run, Venezuelan home invaders at the door.”
