That’s a simple fact. I’m an infantry vet. I’d rather use my skills again than let my kids deal with far worse odds down the road.

This isn’t going to get any better, and there’s no political solution. Voted it all in, but can’t vote out.

Yeah, that's my conclusion, no political solutions. I'm on the fence but leaning toward divorce, that is true. But yeah, it wouldn't be without a high cost. Even if somehow we arranged a peaceful split, we'd be sunk as a world power, China would assert itself boldly, there would be chaos... or maybe WWIII (which might unify the nation, or whatever smoldering piles remain.) So, probably as a last resort. But that's also probably CWII. Do you think MSM could instrument a de-escalation at this point (if they earnestly tried)?
