I was in a local pub waiting for my family’s food order. I saw red when the bartender said Trump was shot. I don’t know what I would have done if someone started cheering. Thank you Lord that wasn’t the case.
I was in Lake Tahoe waiting for my girlfriend to get ready to go out and CBS cut in to say what had happened. First my heart dropped out of my chest. I really thought they got President Trump. I nearly lost my S. I don’t know what would have happened if they actually got Mr. Trump.
I’ve been thanking God continually since, but still doesn’t seem like enough.
