JMO could it be the plan is for SLO Joe to resign next week, The Border Czar becomes president and selects Jill as VP. This locks all others out of the ticket, keeps 10% for Ms Big Guy in place while allowing for “Pardons for all”
Not uncommon on the Dem side for a spouse to be appointed or to run in place of the spouse, to honor the memory of the unfortunate Dem Party Member.
