Dearest Melian, the answer to that “do they think at all” is no. I don’t mean this in a negative way.
Had a precious soul and her daughter knock at my door yesterday taking up donations for “the Sunshine Girls.” Don’t know if it was a scam or a serious group but it didn’t really matter. They were obviously less advantaged from an economic standpoint. It presented an opportunity to speak of God’s kingdom and His provision, under the billowing shade of the front porch TRUMP flag.
Our topics of convo included: her search for house cleaning clients but can’t find them “because the hispanic women have taken all these jobs,” her struggle raising children in a drug infested school and neighborhood, her 12 year old daughter’s sexual assault by a public school official, her child’s exposure to Satanism in the public schools, etc.
Considering the litany of evil “creep” upon her family, it was SHOCKING her lack of knowledge on current affairs. She had no clue of Biden’s dementia, no clue of Biden’s withdrawal from race, no knowledge/understanding of either positive or negative Trump. She actually said, “Why did Biden drop out, I don’t understand.”
There was little evidence that she ever delved into any thought process regarding how these evil grifters have taken over our government, both the R’s and D’s. No evidence that she sought understanding as to the WHY’s and HOW’S: why/how illegals have taken jobs from American’s, why/how we are flooded with deadly street drugs and violence that endanger our families, why/how pedo’s get access to our children through federal, state, and public entities.
I did see what one could call “acceptance.” Like a slave would accept that their master beats them, there is no need to think because master will tell me what to do.
It is my hope that I imaged Christ to her, that I was able to positively spark an inquiring mind to explore the world around her. I know for a fact, regardless of our differences, our similarities were greater. I too am ignorant in many ways, had to raise children in a hostile evil world, struggled to financially survive, we both need repentance, and God, and yearn to be loved by others.
God loves that lady and her 12 year old just as much as he loves me. I asked her to consider voting for Trump. I don’t know. My only assurance is there is a God message in the still small whisper of the encounter.
I sincerely pray that she learn to think. I don’t know why but writing this has made me cry. We are in dire need of Jesus in this nation....
