I need to apologize about my earlier post ... I have been undergoing increasing vertigo attacks and not able to drive safely; been pushing for medical help from a specialist that did surgery on my left ear 5 years ago.

I say all that to say that, while my structure of the shot was accurate, I got the origin of the sniper shot 180° out of phase - the shot came from Trump's right, not left (facing the audience.) The alleged bullet flight picture that I mentioned would presumably picture the projectile following passing the target's head.

A substack poster, ArnGrimR, has done an excellent job of clarifying the dynamics of the site layout in relation to the shooter's position.

The key factor that presents itself in this structure is the position of a tree between the shooter and the 2 counter sniper positions. What we see is that the shooter had to keep moving on the roof of the glass building in order to find a position that gave him a clear line of fire to the speaker's podium and still remain shielded by the tree from the 2 counter sniper positions.

Another factor that could have intruded is seen to the right of the speaker's podium; note two blue crosses just above the podium and above them to the right is a small square structure casting a long shadow downward; that is a speaker 'tower'.

It is possible that movement by the target occasionally placed the speaker tower in an obstructive position, and the sniper had to move further to his left, resulting with him moving into the view of counter sniper position #2. The author credits counter sniper position #2 with a great shot!

It is noteworthy that the substack author, in an earlier posting concludes that a sniper on the water tower is unlikely.
