If that shot really did pass parallel to the back rail of the grandstand to the right
and behind the stage, injuring people along the way, then something like the red
line would have been the trajectory.
I've tried to map this speculation to google earth, however the different
perspectives make it difficult and introduce a large margin of error.

From that graphic, it’s not the water tower, so I’m not sure where he’s saying the red line originated. Could have been even further away? It’s the video that is compelling... you can literally see those poor people falling down like dominoes.
