I just realized that Dem congress woman who passed on last week was the one that said “this committee will not stop until we get to the bottom of the collapse of FTX” or something like that. FTX being the crypto currency thing that lost like $8 Billion think the head guy was named Fried or something like that....guess the question is will anyone else step in to make sure that “investigation” continues down the same pathway or will it head a different direction (if at all).

I’ve been struggling with this whole assassination attempt. Trump is a billionaire genius who has been very serious about his security for his whole life. Who knows how many attempts on his life have been thwarted over the years. Before he was President he had stellar private security, probably as good or better than secret service. While he was President he kept his own security who worked with his secret service detail. His security has always been top notch, and he is very, very good at staying safe.
So why would such a gifted, wealthy genius walk into a trap so obvious, with security gaps any video gaming kid could see, and a venue strewn with ridiculous hazards? I refuse to believe he is that naive.
I do NOT believe Trump would fake his own assassination attempt. So what gives? Something is not right.
Trump, and the Q team, they have it all. They monitor everything. I suggest that they knew about the attempt, prepared very well, and somehow thwarted the attempt, took out the bad guys. One woman said she saw them shoot a sniper on the water tower. I don’t know. I just do not believe Trump and his team would have blindly walked into that crazy ass venue.
The assassination attempt was not staged, but perhaps the response was?
Thus my question on a potential different direction ;-p

As you surely already know, at 1:46pm yesterday afternoon, on a Sunday, someone operating Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.’s Twitter account posted a hastily-written and, frankly, fake-looking de-nomination letter that some other unidentified person had typed up. Politico ran the story last night under the four-word headline, “Why Biden finally quit.”
Huddled together —but socially distanced— in Biden’s secretive Rehobeth lair, with the putative President hoarsely dry-coughing (despite four shots, a carton of Paxlovid, and a fifth of Jameson), the aides debated the best way to make the historic announcement.
Suggestions swirled around the room. A press conference? A televised appearance to the Nation? A polished, well-produced video message with his family beside him? A professional White House photo of Joe signing his letter surrounded by supporters? An airplane banner flying above the White House? Smoke signals? Wait! Eureka!
Then —we don’t know whose idea it was, maybe everyone— the most effective way to make the historic, unprecedented announcement suddenly emerged from the chaotic conversation, every head nodding in agreement, like a CVS shelf of Nancy Pelosi bobblehead dolls.
A Tweet! On Twitter! That was clearly the best and most professional way to memoralize the historic decision. Of course! So simple! Anyone with the password could do it! And it would neatly bookend Joe’s “I’m staying in the race” tweet from just three weeks ago:
